From First Anodizing Line to Aerospace Standard

2011 — The First Tank Line in Shah Alam

We started with a single anodizing line and a clear constraint: no shortcuts on surface preparation. The first batches were small, but the rejection rate taught us more than any manual could. We rebuilt the rinsing sequence twice in the first year.

2014 — Champagne Gold Becomes a Product, Not a Color

After repeated requests from cabin interior suppliers, we formalized our champagne gold metallic finish as a separate product line. That meant dedicated tanks, separate masking procedures, and a color standard we still reference against physical samples.

2017 — Aerospace Documentation and Traceability

We introduced batch-level traceability for every coated part, linking raw material certificates to process logs and final inspection records. This was a direct response to a client audit that found our records thorough but not yet digital.

2020 — Thickness Mapping on Curved Surfaces

Flat panels were straightforward; curved brackets were not. We invested in a profilometer and revised our racking fixtures to reduce thickness variation on radii. The result was a measurable drop in rework for wing and fuselage components.

2023 — Expanded Sealing and Testing Capacity

With more orders requiring salt-spray and adhesion verification, we added a second sealing line and an in-house test bench. This shortened lead times for clients who previously sent samples to third-party labs.

Today our work is about holding the same finish across larger production runs. We are refining bath chemistry monitoring and operator checklists so that a part coated on Monday matches one coated on Friday.
